NZAVS Submission in Support of NZAVS Petition to Abolish Vivisection (1989)
Read what the Primary Production Select Committee ignored as NZAVS produced a watertight case to have vivisection abolished. The strength of the Submission is illustrated by the Committee's action at the 'Hearing'
of the Petition. With no way of combating the arguments concisely contained in this 40 page A4 document (that was about to be expanded upon by NZAVS' oral submissions), the Committee walked out!
The LD50 Alibi

1984, signed by approximately 40,000 people sought the abolition of the LD50 being carried out in New Zealand and
the dropping of the Government's regulations that the LD50 is carried out in countries from where certain products

Heart Research on Animals
Book by Brandon Reines. Runs through what have been deemed 'advances' against heart disease plus many more techniques,
showing how animal models have failed to make a single advance against congenital heart defects, hypertension, stroke and coronary artery disease,
and that any advances have come through clinical investigation rather than vivisection.
