Our comment:

This would legalise the Lethal Dose 50 Test (which is this Society's main concern). Any medicament, pharmaceutical, drug, may be funnelled into the guts of fully-conscious animals under the flag of medical experiment.

The artificial distinctions between medical/non-medical experiments condones and legalises vivisection which not only inflicts torture on hundreds of millions of animals but is directly responsible for grievous harm being inflicted upon millions of human beings in a criminally negligent and misleading method of research.

Notorious drugs tested on animals. Causing hell on Earth for animals as well as the human victims.

This is the area that the NZ Anti-Vivisection Society would take a firm stand and fight with facts and figures proving time and time again that medical research on animals is not only a danger to this generation but to countless future generations of human beings who will suffer from our consumption of highly dangerous animal tested drugs and medicaments... performed under the flag of medical research.

Cancer (tests on animals - medical experiments)

Again: Hundreds of millions of animals being induced with false cancers - in cruel and useless tests designed to make money for the pharmaceutical companies and the animal breeding empires... It is now recognised that cancer will not be cured by inflicting agonies onto innocent animals but by education away from animal tested medicaments and cancerous laden animal flesh.

The American Journal of Diseases of Children report the immersing of new born animals' heads in icy water and occluding their nostrils - in crib death experiments on animals... permissible under medical experiment! The world's worst atrocities to animals falls under this heading.
