Life imprisonment to lay eggs for you

Battery hens

For the whole of its life a battery hen is imprisoned in living space of twelve inches by six inches - less than the size of an A4 sheet of paper. 95% of all eggs sold in New Zealand are from living creatures thus tortured. NZAVS members are asked to support the Campaign Against Battery Laid Eggs (CABLE) and Compassion in World Farming.
