LD50: Views of Parliamentarians

LD50! (The poisoning of animals to death in toxicity tests).
What are the views of our Parliamentarians on this important international issue:

The following is the result of an NZAVS questionnaire which was hand-delivered with a 16-page booklet The Lethal Dose 50 Alibi (http://www.nzavs.org.nz/materials/ld50.html) to every member of Government and Opposition on World Animal Day 1984:

For those of us who have difficulty coping with the avalanche of forms which we are bombarded and harassed as part of our lives... take heart... as this exercise reveals that our elected leaders' skills when confronted with a taste of their own medicine...

is abysmal...

Whilst a slim minority had the courage to express an opinion - basically the results clearly indicate laxity and a dodging of moral responsibility.

NOTE:
