"In time the world will realize that by helping animals, ALF will have helped humanity as well"

... says NZAVS Patron Hans Ruesch.. adding

"All the evidence shows that history will be repeated - that direct action will eventually force governments to legislate against ruthless oppression of the helpless."

"For all their unquestionable morality, these raiders' actions are considered illegal by many in the light of existing laws... But are they really illegal?... Perhaps not, if we keep in mind the arguments of people like Professor Lawrence Kohlberg of Harvard, who at the time of the Vietnam war suggested that a government might become illegal rather than those who insurge against it."

In "Moral Reasoning - The Value of Life", Professor Kohlberg wrote:

"Laws can and should be challenged or changed when they are seen to violate more general humane principles. When governments consistently violate humane principles, one has the right of revolution... because the government has broken the social contract."

The Animal Liberation Front without exception or reservation upholds and acknowledges the work of groups which, campaigning within the framework of the law educates and informs the public... In the knowledge that the conventional and unconventional complement each other for the greater good of animals...

... In return... unless an organisation is involved with vivisectionists or other animal exploiters... is benefitting in some way from animal abuse... has something to lose or something to hide... or is infiltrated at the top... it will have no hesitation in climbing off the fence and publicly recognising and accepting the Animal Liberation Front... in the media... in its newsletters... and in principle...
...Thus elevating them to their rightful position of dignity in the animal rights movement.

What we eat, wear and use has a direct impact on the lives and deaths of animals. Every time we visit the grocery store, the pharmacy, every time we go shopping - to the delicatessen, the supermarket. Every time we make a purchase... every purchase. Every time we eat, drink, visit the cinema. Our every action - every cent we spend - every minute - every day of our lives..

We vote for... or against... animal liberation.
