... screamed the capital's "Dominion" headlines on 27 July 1987 as the meningococcal meningitis mass immunisation campaign leaves children suffering "alarming neurological effects". Other reports claimed children found to be suffering from meningitis after being vaccinated against it! Despite this, and despite tragic repercussions from the polio vaccinations of the 1960s the government with a persistence that can only be described as fanatical plans to proceed with hepatitis B. immunisations later this year.

The following day, the combined news-media "condemned anti-vaccine campaigners for jeopardising mass immunisations..." which is surprising since all this Society's letters on the subject have been carefully suppressed.

A shame indeed for Connaught, Wellcome, Wyeth, Lederle and other vaccine producers whose "safe" animal-tested vaccines are dubbed "unreasonably dangerous" by Allen McDowell, U.S. lawyer, who has won millions of dollars in out-of-court settlements from damages ensuing from vaccinations. Unless they are based on peripheral philosophical concepts readers' letters designed to expose the scientific and medical fraud of vivisection are rarely published. Almost certain to be rejected are those giving details about the tragedies resulting from animal-based medicaments and vaccines. It therefore came as no surprise when my letter to the Listener giving disturbing facts in rebuttal of the Tuesday Documentary "Shots of a Peaceful Kind" earlier this year, and several letters to the papers criticising the government's insistence on going ahead with mass immunisation campaigns, were never published.

The gigantic weight of the State, and the media funded by the pharmaceutical, medical and chemical cartels, by way of emotional blackmail bombards the television viewer with grotesque and sub-standard advertisements insisting the benefits of vaccinations and the dire necessity of booster shots. The absence of a voice from those who oppose mass immunisation programmes, must, Even to the naive, be noticeable.

That an informed minority is consistently denied access to the public via the basic platform of the letters column can only be interpreted as a wary fear of those in possession of a truth.

Immunisation...
