The Ministry of Health broke European law by not tendering for the MR vaccine, by going straight to these two pharmaceutical companies (one of which was a big supporter of the Conservative Government). And after millions of pounds had changed hands a job was found on the Board of this company for a Junior Health Minister.²¹

Another point worth noting about this mass campaign was the Department of Health's misleading of parents by grossly overplaying the danger of measles, and stating that side-effects were 'uncommon, usually very mild and disappear quickly.' When in fact it had recently been discovered that side-effects were five times the number previously thought and one of these side-effects was a deadly blood disorder. The Department of Health also said very firmly that the epidemic would happen.²²

Two years after this mass vaccination the number of cases of rubella (German measles) in Scotland was standing at a 13 year high.²³ Vaccinating against rubella is a pointless exercise anyway, one study showing that 73% of those who have the jab show no signs of immunity within five years of having the shots. Rubella is a contagious disease which is usually so mild that it escapes detection. When contracted by children it is completely non-threatening. However if contracted during the first three months of pregnancy there is a risk that the baby will be born with birth defects. If the disease is contracted in childhood it gives a life long natural immunity, unlike vaccination, which can give immunity for only a few years, thereby increasing the risks of birth defects.²⁴

Measles in the vast majority of cases is not a serious childhood illness as only one child in every million might develop brain inflammation.²⁵ And side-effects of measles vaccination can include deterioration in muscle control, learning difficulties, retardedness, blood-clotting disorders, Guillain-Barre syndrome and juvenile diabetes.²⁶ Furthermore a study by the World Health Organisation has indicated that persons vaccinated against measles are 14 times more likely to develop measles than the unvaccinated.²⁷ In a measles outbreak in 1986 in Corpus Christi, Texas, 99% of the children effected had been vaccinated against measles.²⁸

A recent study has shown that measles-vaccinated persons appear to be three times more likely to develop Crohn's disease and two and-a-half times more likely to develop ulcerative colitis. In fact, since 1968, when measles vaccination was introduced, Crohn's disease in children has increased rapidly, with a 300% increase in Scotland.²⁹

Another speaker at the WDDTY conference was Dr J Antoney Morris, a former research scientist with the American Food and Drug Administration who was dismissed for trying to prevent the mass vaccination of the American public against the swine flu 'epidemic' of 1976. He too studied data from a mathematical model which supposedly predicted this epidemic, and found it to be nonsense. Dr Morris' warning was ignored and the mass vaccination went ahead, the side-effects destroying peoples lives. And of course the epidemic failed to materialise.

Dr Morris spoke of a compensation system brought in by the American government in the 1980's in response to a drop in vaccinations due to parental worries over side-effects such as seizures and the severe brain damage which followed. Under this compensation system the Federal Government would pay the life long medical expenses of severely brain damaged children.

In 1997 the number of awards made to children who had experienced seizures after vaccination had become so large and so expensive that a group was put together by the Institute of Medicine to advise congress on what course of action they should take. The outcome was that seizures and other conditions which cause brain damage were removed from the table that results in awards to children that have been damaged. Thus there are now severely brain damaged children who are no longer eligible for compensation.³⁰

Surely the greatest danger facing children today is vaccination. With some degree of brain damage being inflicted upon one child in every five inoculated is it any wonder we now have thousands of uncontrollable children, with twelve and a half thousand in the UK so badly behaved that no school will have them.³¹
