ALF

Members of ALF raided the UCLA Medical Centre in Los Angeles, USA. Cruel experiments are carried out at this centre. Recently the professor of medicine there implanted an infusion pump inside a dog and this remained in the dog for six months to test a new heart drug. The ALF rescued twelve dogs who were due for experimentation and these were taken to good homes outside the area. The pro-vivisection coalition warned this action "could spark off more acts...". Universities and laboratories in the area have now increased their security as the ALF has warned of more raids in the future. The University officials admitted the ALF action could cost the University about $70,000... etc... etc....
