Today's scientists and technologists trained in the school of callous disregard of animal suffering inevitably arrive at a callous disregard of human suffering Because modern teaching relies on dissection, dominance and mastery over all things beautiful we are faced with such terrifying goals as head transplants, brain isolation, cloning, indefinite prolongation of life, the deep freezing of human beings, the control of the human mind by drugs and remote control. The creation of chimeras (half man, half monster), and cyborging, the creation of human solo brains, half-living, half-machine, the control centre of space-ships. Earth's ambassadors of the future, their destinations planets hidden in the mists of time. Herbert W. Franke, German physicist and cyberneticist reportedly claimed that the brain of an unborn child would be the most suitable for programming because, not being burdened with mental processes, it could be fed with the data and information necessary for the special tasks of space travel. This chilling glimpse into today's scientific gaols, this pitiless search for knowledge, rests on ruthless and cruel experiments on animals. The path is strewn with the bones and souls of hundreds and millions of innocent victims. Research teams of the US Navy, the US Air Force, General Electric and the Rand Corporation are reportedly working on such objectives - using monkeys as subjects, claims Eric von Daniken in his book "Return to the Stars". This - while a fifth of the children in the third-world countries of planet earth die under the age of five years - from malnutrition and lack of basic medical care |
