4 May 1984 - St Albans Hertfordshire
"Vivisection Means Murder" was sprayed on the premises of Boots the Chemists and across the windows of the shop by ALF activists. The Manager of the shop was known to be very angry and instructed the cleaners to "scrape it off as quickly as possible".

21 May 1984 - West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire
The homes of two animal abusers were the subject of attacks by the ALF. A Dr Cliff of Boxley Drive, West Bridgford, who works in the Toxicology Dept at Boots had the locks of his home filled with glue and Dr Lewis of Chorlworth Rd, also West Bridgford, who is one of the chief vivisectors at Boots, had paint stripper poured over his garage and its locks glued.
