We are excited to announce that we have a new Campaign Manager, Niki Moore!
Niki qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2014 and had been working in clinic, until becoming the NZAVS Campaign Manager.
She has worked as a qualified veterinary nurse in a clinic specializing in equine dentistry. She has also volunteered as a veterinary nurse for a non-profit wildlife hospital, focused around avian wildlife emergency care and rehabilitation.
For the last three years, Niki has worked as a veterinary nurse specifically for companion animals. A lot of the animals she nursed were cats and dogs, but she also cared for rabbits, birds, rats, and mice. Her main responsibility was surgical nursing, followed by general nursing such as hospital and clinical.
Her extensive experience as a veterinary nurse will be an asset to team NZAVS and our various campaigns promoting the scientific invalidity of animal-based research.
We’ve been lucky enough to have Niki as a dedicated volunteer for many years now. Niki had been the NZAVS Christchurch Volunteer Coordinator before stepping into the role of Campaign Manager.
With many victories on the horizon, we would like to thank you for your ongoing show of support.
You are all outstanding! Let’s keep changing New Zealand together.
