We are super excited to announce who will be doing the first ever live reading of our new book, The Six-Foot Rats at our upcoming book launch!

Chlöe Swarbrick and Gareth Hughes will be heading to Christchurch to attend our book launch!

Chloe and Gareth are both Green MPs and we feel very lucky to have them coming to our event. 

Chole is Spokesperson for Education, Arts and Heritage, Tertiary Education, Small Business, Broadcasting, Youth, Local Government and Internal Affairs and is the youngest politician to enter Parliament since Marilyn Waring in 1975.

Gareth is Spokesperson for Energy and Resources, Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment, Science and Innovation, ICT, Tourism, and Wellington Issues. He has also just been announced as the spokesperson for animal welfare issues!

We think this is a wonderful opportunity for kids to meet two very inspiring leaders of Aotearoa! Together they are going to do the honour of reading this amazing new book that we have been working on with Rebbecca Gibbs to help educate young kiwis on animal testing.
