Animal Research Takes Lives - Humans and Animals Both Suffer
Read the on-line version of Bette Overell's book "Animal Research Takes Lives - Humans and Animals Both Suffer". It uses sourced, scientific information to detail how vivisection affects you and why animal testing must be abolished. Entire text on-line for free viewing at: http://www.health.org.nz/
Slaughter of the Innocent
Latest edition of Hans Ruesch's classic anti-vivisection book at a special price.
The 450 pages (including index) describe what vivisection is, provides a section of chilling examples of vivisection and another section on the intellectuality and mutual compassion shown by animals. Ruesch then presents a brief look at the history of medicine and how its progress has been hampered by vivisection. This is backed up by quotes and references from doctors and medical journals. Cancer, vaccines, surgery and pharmaceuticals are all dealt with, and the harmful effects for humans from animal experiments are highlighted.

About NZAVS
Founded in 1978 by Bette Overell, NZAVS is New Zealand's serious scientific anti-vivisection organisation. We focus on immediate abolition of (on grounds of medical and scientific fraud) vivisection by exposing the harm to human health that comes from using results of experiments on animals.
